Vivian L Regedanz, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor in Plymouth, Indiana. Born in Fort Wayne, Vivian worked as the secretary for the Republican Central Committee for 28 years. She also worked for the City of Fort Wayne, and the Allen County Sheriff's Department. She was the Precinct Chairperson and Committee Woman for 40 years. She was elected as Republican Woman of the Year 1983. Vivian was a Girl Scout Leader, Cubs Scout Den Mother. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and involved in their Youth Committee and Outreach Committee for many years. Surviving are her son, Richard Regedanz Jr. of Fort Wayne, daughters; Kay (Harry) Blazoudakis of Athens, Greece, Joan Carter of Libertyville, IL, Rosalie Regedanz of Plymouth. Sisters, Sue Merz of Fort Wayne, Lou (Jim) Fagan of Bloomington, Jo Wildermuth of Fort Wayne, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Vivian was preceded in death by parents, J. Marion and Dollie Walborn, husband, Richard Regedanz Sr., brother, John Walborn, and sister, Mary Habig. Service is 2:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 West Wayne Street with calling one hour prior, Rev. Dr. Katheen Haller officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue Thursday, July 19, 2012 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
