Jerry Wayne Barker, 43, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Jerry was co-owner of Top Notch Tree Service for the past 17 years. Jerry was a volunteer for many and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed playing tennis, and loved spending time with his friends and family. Surviving are his wife Debbie Fisher, mother, Marcie Barker of Putney, KY, son, Wesley Woodrow Barker step-son, Waylon Fisher, step-daughters, Victoria Fisher, Jazmine Shelton, grandchildren, Mackenzi and Logan Shelton, William Fisher, brother, Kenny (Rebecca) Barker, and half sister, Brenna Golden. Jerry was preceded in death by father, Charlie Barker. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling at the Funeral Home, Friday, June 29, 2012 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the family.
