Harold M. Jamison, 90, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Woodview Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Wells County, IN, Harold worked as a Operations Planner with General Electric for 41 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church , a U S Army WW II veteran and 503rd Parachute RCT Association WWII and American Legion Post 82. Harold enjoyed playing and watching all types of sports. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Pauline E. Facks Jamison; son, Thomas M. (Karen) Jamison, MD of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren, Chadwick M. Jamison of Virginia Beach, VA and Courtney M. (Matthew) Cox of Melbourne, Australia; great grandchildren, Jamison M. Cox and Ellen Marie Cox of Melbourne, Australia; sister, Doris G. Herendeen of CA; sister in law, Virginia Jamison of Huntington IN. Harold was preceded in death by his daughter, Judith M Dove; sister, Helen V. Linn; brother, Keith Jamison. Funeral Service is Thursday, 10:30 am, June 7, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Rev. James Evans officiating. Calling will also be wed 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation JDRF, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004.
