Virginia M. Garner, 78, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012. Born in Detroit, MI, Virginia worked at Food Marketing for 15 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church; Wings Too; and had volunteered for one of the associate pastors at St. Vincent. Virginia was an avid Komets fan for over 30 years. She is survived by, sons, Ronald (Linda) Garner of Kingsport, TN and Daniel Garner of Ft. Wayne; and grandchildren, Christopher, Amber, Caitlyn, Ian, Anna, Tessa, and Katherine. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; parents, Francis and Stephanie Jozefczyk; brothers, Julian and William Joseph; and sisters, Adele Borus and Jane Patti. Mass of Christian Burial is 12 PM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
