Kathleen Sue Williams, known as Miss Sue to many, 84 of Fort Wayne, Indiana died on January 7, 2019. Sue was born July 6, 1934 in Lima, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Harry Randall and late Lois Kephart Major. On February 25, 1956 she was united in marriage in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thomas J. Williams who preceded her in death. Raised in Lima, Ohio, she graduated from Lima High School in 1952. She was a graduate of Cincinnati School of Nursing in 1956. She worked several years in the field of nursing, taught student nurses at Maumee Valley Medical Center, and later in life worked completing taxes at H and R Block in Waverly, Ohio. She was a member of Episcopal Churches in Maumee, Ohio, Chillicothe, Ohio and finally at Holy Family Episcopal Church in Angola, Indiana, where she served on the vestry, alter guild, the building committee, and was a member and past president of Episcopal Church Women. Sue was involved in activities to better her community and help others in every community in which she lived. Those included, Wavery Garden Club, AAUW, Community Concerts, The Historical Society, Community Arts Council, the Blood Mobile and many others. Her grandchildren are Paige, Blaire and Thomas (Cole) Williams, Joshua Williams, William and Natalie Robbins, Nolan and Joseph Chandler and Sydney and Reid Webber. Sue was always a busy lady and even in her 80s could outpace those much younger than her. Whether it was cooking fabulous meals in the kitchen or serving on boards, Sue did not sit still. Sue, in a loving way, would not take no for an answer. Sue opened her home and heart to everyone. She was understanding and supportive to all. Not only was Sue a loving wife and mother to her family, but she was a loving mother to everyone she knew. Sue's generosity of time, talent and treasures knew no bounds.
