Helen E. Snyder

Helen E. Snyder, 96, of Golden Years Homestead in Ft. Wayne, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 17, 2012. Born in rural Allen county, Helen and her husband, Milford, owned Greenwood Springs Water Company for over 30 years. She was an accomplished seamstress and excellent cook. In her retirement, she also enjoyed working with her family's business at Colonial Oaks Golf Course. She was a member of Broadway Christian Church and Christ's Church at Georgetown. She is survived by her son, Duane Snyder of Stuart, FL; daughter, Darlene (Patrick) Riley of Duck Key, FL; brothers, George of Ft. Wayne and Frank (Carol) Frazier of LaPorte, IN; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Snyder; parents, Rosell and Ruth Frazier; brothers Dorwin and Robert Frazier; and sisters, Betty McComb and Irene Johnston. Service is 2:30 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2012 at First Eel River American Baptist, 11022 Carroll Rd with calling one hour prior.
