Angela Johnson , 82, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Monroeville, IN, Angela worked as a Claims Processor with Lincoln Financial for 18 years, retiring in 1992. After her retirement from Lincoln Financial, she worked at Kohl's Dept Store for 10 years and retired from there in 2002 She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, also a member of the church social action committee, the funeral dinner committee, a past member of the parish council, and was on the first Christ Renews His Parish Team of St. Jude Church. Surviving are her sons, Philip (Denise) Johnson of Evansville, IN, Greg (Joann) Johnson of Arlington, TX, Doug (Lisa) Johnson of Fort Wayne, Bennett Johnson of NC. and Rodney (Shawn) Johnson of Fort Wayne; daughters, Kathy (Ron) Ankenbruck of Angola, Debbie (Joe) Radford and Patty Bennett both of Fort Wayne. 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Gene (Nancy) Sheehan of New Haven, Neal (Susan) Sheehan of Lake George and Carl (Kathy) Sheehan of Monroeville, IN. Angela was preceded in death by her parents Irvin Sheehan and Alberta Sheehan, husband, Robert P Johnson, and sister, Nancy Lothamer. Mass of Christian Burial is Wed. 10:30 am, June 6, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Rev. Thomas Shoemaker officiating. Calling will also be at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue Tuesday, June 05, 2012 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with the Rosary at 4:30 pm. Burial in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery, Monroeville, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Catholic School Tuition Assistance Fund or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. I am saddened to hear of Angela's passing but have faith that she was welcomed into Heaven. I have such fond memories of seeing her at Mass and the kids' events. She was a beautiful person inside and out.

Deb, Joe, and all of the Johnson Families,

We remember the times Angela would come to Forester events. She enjoyed life to the fullest and liked to have fun. Also, we remember the times we would get together with the Joe and Deb at their house to play cards and Angela was there. We always had fun with her and her family.

We know you will miss her and she leaves a large hole in your lives, but she will always remain

I remember being out at Grandma Hilda and Grandpa Frizz's and being so excited when Aunt Angela and her kids came out. We knew we were going to have a lot of fun when they were there!! But most recently I will never forget the many times I was fortunate enough to play cards with her. What fun we had!! I sure will miss that. Thank you Aunt Angela for being sure a wonderful person!! I love you!
