Cherie was one of the best caregivers at KinderCare! She cared for 3 of my children and did a wonderful service to children. I remember her hearty laugh and her upbeat attitude.
Denise and Cindy, her daughters, I hope you are reading this and will get in touch with me. I would enjoy seeing you or talking with you.
My sincere sympathy to you and your family.
I cried when i saw all the photo memories--it was very moving.

Cherie will always be remembered by her energy and cheerfulness. She was a friend to many in the Class of 1959 - Paulding High School. Rest in peace Cherie.

Romans 8:28 and 8:38-39 is the message that comes to mind. Good will come of this also and nothing can seperate us from the love of Christ! I have many fond memories growing up in Ft Wayne and our two families sharing much together. I can only wish you my best during this time and know that we understand your pain and grief. God Bless you! Thomas Family in Houston, TX

To Jeff, Anita, and Elaine, My memories of Cherie remain very vivid and always include all of you and your parents. Staying overnight in that front bedroom, listening to your Dad playing the piano, your Mom listening to the radio while fixing breakfast, drawing and playing hopscotch on your front sidewalk, going to Krick's grocery for a Coke, getting sick on the new grapes on your grape arbor, and on and on. Cherie was the sister I never had. We

We All will Miss You Greatly.... " To Live is Christ, To Die is Gain " .... You have run the race and crossed over the finish line before us. Get your " Praise On " before the Throne with the Angels.... We will Miss You for a short while, but we will meet you on the Other Side ! XOXO

A brief encounter with Cherie (some 56 years ago) remains in my memory as though it were yesterday. We met late in the evening, in a darkened hallway (on the second floor) of the old Paulding school building. And although it was a brief (word) or two, it was a meeting that I have never forgotten. It was a bit like the (underclassman confronts the senior jock) sort of thing. And typical to stories written for soap operas, some (forty

Ter, Nees & Cin...I know the struggle you must be having, knowing that your Mom is safe in His arms but wanting her in yours...He gave her back to you once, because He knew she was so special that she had more love to give to more people! You truly were blessed!
Aunt Cherie was more than an Aunt...
How much I loved to drive those back roads from Paulding to Blackhawk! I think I knew the way from age 4!

Terri, Denise, and Cindy
I was saddened to hear about Aunt Cherie's passing. You are in my families thoughts and prayers. I can"t help but remember all of the good times I had and the excitement I felt as a youngster going to Aunt Cherie's house. I rember the big ol' blue Buick sitting in the driveway, that big fat cat "Sam"?, that puffy little dog, the green Christmas treats she made with the Red Hots on top..... But most of
