Memories & Candles
Please accept my deepest sympathy on Betty's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Betty for several years at Peoples Trust Bank in Southgate Plaza.
Betty was always warm & friendly, hard-working & conscientious. She constantly wore a smile and had a ready infectious laugh. Her wit, humor and joy for life would light up a room. She could also sense when others were troubled and she was there to offer a shoulder to lean on and words of advice & encouragement. I know her kindness & compassion touched many people's lives including mine.

I love you Grandma! Thanks for all the wonderful memories and all the things you've taught me growing up. You are the best Grandma ever with the coolest personality on the planet. You are so nice and so generous, I cannot thank you enough for all your help and support over the years. Probably the coolest thing anyone has ever done for me was when you and Grandpa built an ice rink in our backyard to learn Hockey. I thank

Betty was my friend and coworker at Penney's Southtown in the early 70s.Betty's bubbly personality made every day at work fun!I was a young, struggling mother and she always gave me good advice and then she would joke 'that she actually didn't know what she was doing'-we giggled and laughed all the time.We ate Hershey's Kisses all day at work and every time I eat one,I think of Betty.I saw her once years ago,and told her that;of course, she thought that was

I am sure Betty will be missed. Please accept my condolences for your loss. Joe, having lost my first husband ten years ago, I know these are very difficult times for you. You two and your family were very special to my parents,Bill and Delores Chapman, and to my brothers Ron and Bill. Please extend my sympathy to Patty also. It has been "long time, no see", but I want you to know I am among the many that care

Betty Lou always was smiling. I remember her coming to visit when I was very young and playing with me in the back yard of the little house on Sherwood. Also, Betty and Joe's wedding was the first wedding I remember that was really fun.
Betty Lou will always be remembered as a happy person with a good word for all. Heaven has a new smiling face.

Lisa, Steve and family you are in our thoughts and prayers this weekend. Your loss is difficult and being this week is much harder. Knowing how much your mother loved life and her family will help as will all the memories. Keep each other close and lean on one another for comfort and love. You both have had huge losses this year and your love and strength as a couple and family will give you peace and comfort.
We love you and will be with you in spirit

Lisa, Steve, Alex, Noelle, Ryan, Abigail and all of the rest of Betty's family:
Dean and I send you our Deepest Sympathy, Love and Prayers.
At this very difficult time, and speaking from all to recent experiences-
the best thing you can do is hold onto each other; and continue to let your families grow from the love and examples your mom/grandma has shown you.
It will never be the same, but the memories and fun times will help to keep her
